Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 15, 2026

This policy explains what information the FuseGrid app ("FuseGrid", "the app") and this website use, why, and the choices you have. FuseGrid is made by Quang Trung Nguyen, an individual developer based in Australia ("I", "me").

The short version

  • You don't sign in or create an account. I don't ask for your name, email, or phone number.
  • FuseGrid has no server of its own. Your scores, stats, streaks and settings are stored on your device.
  • The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google uses your device's advertising ID only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
  • The app sends anonymous usage events (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry) so I can fix problems and improve the game.
  • Game Center is optional. If you are signed in, your scores and achievements go to Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
  • I don't sell your personal information.

1. Information stored on your device

FuseGrid keeps these on your iPhone:

This information is not sent to me or to anyone else. If you use iCloud or computer backups, your device's backup may include it, as it does for other apps; Apple handles those backups under your Apple Account settings.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

FuseGrid is free because it shows ads: a banner on the Home screen, an occasional full-screen ad between games, and the optional video you can choose to watch for Keep Going. Ads never appear on the board while you play. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which is run by Google LLC. When the app requests and shows an ad, Google's software in the app may collect:

Tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). After your first game ends, iOS may show a box asking whether FuseGrid can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. The game plays exactly the same whatever you choose.

Privacy message. Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or some US states), the app may show a privacy message from Google with your ad choices before ads are shown. If it applies to you, you can reopen it in the app under Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.

Google uses this information under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Ads in FuseGrid are limited to content rated G (suitable for general audiences).

3. Product analytics (PostHog)

The app sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, a product analytics service, so I can see how the game is used and what to improve. Examples: "run started" and "run finished" with the mode and score, whether Keep Going was used, tutorial steps, whether an ad was shown, whether the tracking prompt was answered, and whether the Daily Reminder was turned on.

4. Crash and hang reports (Sentry)

If the app crashes, freezes, or hits an error, it sends a diagnostic report to Sentry, an error-monitoring service. A report contains technical details such as the error, the part of the app where it happened, the app and iOS version, the device model, and the steps leading up to it in the app. Reports contain no personal information and are not linked to your identity, and Sentry is set up not to store your IP address. I use them only to find and fix bugs.

5. Apple Game Center (optional)

FuseGrid works with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is run by Apple, not by me. If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the app sends your scores to the FuseGrid leaderboards and your earned achievements to Apple. Apple handles this information, including how your Game Center name and scores are shown to other players, under the Apple Privacy Policy and your Game Center settings. I don't receive your Apple Account details, and the app does not send your Game Center details to PostHog or Sentry.

If you are not signed in, nothing is sent to Game Center; achievements you earn are kept on your device. You can sign in or out in iOS Settings → Game Center.

6. Daily Reminder notification (optional)

If you turn on the Daily Reminder, iOS asks for permission to send notifications, and the app schedules one reminder a day on your device. No server is involved and no notification token is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the app's Settings, or in iOS Settings → Notifications → FuseGrid.

7. Age range (Apple's Declared Age Range)

Where the law requires it (for example in Texas), the app asks iOS for your age range (under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 and over), never your birth date. The answer is used on your device only to decide which ads you may see: no ads at all for players iOS reports as under 13, and only non-personalized ads with no tracking prompt from 13 to 17. It is not stored, sent to me, or shared, and it is never included in analytics or crash reports.

8. What FuseGrid does not do

9. Who receives information

ServiceWhat forInformation
Google AdMobShowing and measuring adsAdvertising ID (only if you allow tracking), device info, IP address and approximate location, ad interactions
PostHogAnonymous product analyticsUsage events with a random app identifier, device info
SentryCrash and hang reportsTechnical diagnostics, device info
Apple (Game Center)Leaderboards and achievements, only if you are signed inYour scores and achievements, under your Game Center account
CloudflareHosting this websiteStandard technical data such as IP addresses

These providers are located in, or process data in, the United States and other countries. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

10. How long information is kept

11. Your choices

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as those in several US states (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Oregon), the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Australia may give you the right to:

I do not sell personal information for money. However, if you allow tracking, letting Google use your advertising ID to personalize ads may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws. You can opt out at any time by choosing "Ask App Not to Track" (or turning tracking off in iOS Settings) and by using Settings → Ad Privacy Choices in the app. Global Privacy Control signals don't apply inside the app, but the options above have the same effect. Where the law asks for consent to personalized ads, Google's privacy message asks for it, and you can change your answer in Ad Privacy Choices.

Because FuseGrid has no account and keeps your game data on your device, most requests can be completed by you directly in the app. For anything else, contact me (section 16). I will respond within 45 days (or sooner if your local law requires it), may need to ask for information to understand your request, and will not charge you. If I can't complete a request, I will explain why, and you can appeal by writing again with "Appeal" at the start of your message. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, state attorney general, or, in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.

Categories of personal information (California notice): identifiers (advertising ID, only with your permission; a random app identifier; IP address), internet and device activity (ad interactions, app usage events, diagnostics), and approximate location (from IP address). Sources: your device and the app. Purposes: showing ads, analytics, and fixing bugs. No sensitive personal information is collected.

13. Children

FuseGrid is a puzzle game for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where iOS tells the app a player is under 13, the app shows no ads and the advertising software is not started. Ads for everyone are limited to content rated G. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me (section 16) and I will delete what I can.

14. This website

fusegrid-block-puzzle.pages.dev is a plain website with no cookies, no scripts, no analytics, and no trackers. It is hosted by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

15. Security and changes

Information sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your on-device game data is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode.

If the app starts handling data differently, for example by adding new online features, I will update this page and the effective date before the change goes live, and describe the change in the app's release notes.

16. Contact

Questions or requests about your privacy: email trungpro5398@gmail.com. I answer privacy requests within 45 days.
